This character I created, the pink interrupted girl, turned out to be rather popular. The original idea was to kill her in a second picture. I did the 'dead' shoot about 3 times and hated the results.

BUT NOW I was digging in my photography gallery and I looked back at this version, and I actually think it's good now. It's not the best, but it's better than an unfinished project, because there is no way I'll try this shoot a 4th time haha.

So these are her last minutes before death. She was still moving and was looking the killer straight in the eyes.

Great pic, but please please please don't mix violence with a torn blouse. Believe it or not, it does in fact encourage sexual abuse.

The girl was being pursued by a man whom she could never love. He gave her his heart but she turned him down. In a fit of rage and passion, the man smashed his love's face into a window then choked her with her own pink hair.
When the reality of what he had done sunk in, he slit his throat with a piece of glass from the girl's face and held her until he scummed to death himself.

Sorry, ignore my random story- that's just what the picture makes me think of.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND CONSIDER THE MATTER CLOSED. Please do not comment further.
Call it what you may, this is shock art, and it met that purpose with me and I got angry as a result, and spoke my mind, and I do still hate it no less.
But in consideration this positively motivates me to prevent this sort of inhumane action in civil society. The same way the terrorists execution videos motivate NATO soldiers to join the fight. And since there are only 0.01% killers out there in society and about 5% heroes, the odds say this rotten picture is 500x more likely to do good than harm. And that's about as far as I'll go toward accepting it. So just accept that fact and don't comment here. Send me a note if you must.

First off: you could have talked to me first before ruining this moment for me.
Next time do a little more effort to get to know the artist. You could have checked my Deviant and found out that I took the picture myself (I am a girl, not some weird guy) and am also the model and 'makeup artist' of this picture.

So yes, I butchered myself :) and no, not to inspire the creepy men of the internet.
I did this cause this is one of my original ideas to make a portfolio for my special effects make-up (this is make-up they use for movies). I wanted to present certain skills I have in a different way than just close ups of body parts.

It's my dream to become a makeup artists for movies or tv shows. To have a job I would truly enjoy. And here you are acting like I'm some sick person? Please don't talk about terrorist, serial killers and pictures of dead people (I'm guessing you were talking about pictures of REAL dead people that can be found in some dark places on the internet) and point at my picture.
Next time, please contact me first and I'll get you that mature tag, no problem. I'll also explain everything to you so you know my purpose.

And I think I had the right to make one last comment on this discussion, considering it's mine.
If you want to reply, please continue by notes. I only posted this so that other people will know why I took this picture. And why I take a lot more pictures of bloody things.

I couldn't send a note, my phone won't let me. The bottom line here is you ruined your own moment all on your own when you chose not to add a mature tag and in turn ruin my day. I did not need to inquire about your intentions, everyone justifies themselves after they have inflicted themselves on you, i didnt suspect youd be aby different, and shock! Your not. You don't want me to talk about all the bad stuff I've stumbled across on the net, yet depict equally terrible things for me yet again stumble across. a picture is worth a thousand words and pails my descriptions of the bad world you don't seem to want to talk about but happily will depict. You're is gross contradiction in that sense. It's like a porn star blushing about a sex topic. You want to shock people with murder themes of the reality you can depict, well there you go, I was shocked, your a grand success, just be sure to consider a tag next time, because the people that don't want to see this should not have to ask after you've done the damage. So don't blame me for having a good soul and caring beyond myself, I've got a soldiers heart and would die to deffend a helpless people against the murderous ones. I more than believe in that, its built in my bones from birth. Thus I'd never neglect a mature tag on my work if it came anywhere near realistic, or depicts human death or gore. Because I know some people dont wish to see that. It's a respect thing. So chalk this down to "cause and effect, your the cause I'm just the effect. Blaim yourself, a mature tag would have spared me the grief of seeing yet another depiction of sick reality that I can no longer stomach after too many doses of reality. Hence why I keep that mature filter on, to spare you and me of unneeded misery. So now tell me more how this is my fault. Sure I could have with held the comment, but you had already afflicted yourself on me, why should you be spared my pain? When someone shoots at me I shoot back, cause and effect. That's a dose of reality I don't mind offering those that afflict others thoughtlessly.
Feel free to hide or spam report the comments if you find them unsightly. I'm sorry I could not send this in a note.

I've already done that. And i am allowed to state a negative opinion on art (hence the option of selecting the angry emoicon) what I can't do is question why it was given a DD, which I have not. So I'm within my rights to speak my mind. IE: The artist saw fit go horrify me, so I saw fit to tell him so. Cause and effect.

My bad about DD.
But, how so? Just because it happened to be gory art, it means that someone else is going to do the same thing somewhere? If they do, it's Their problem, not the artist's.

I didnt complain about the picture to the head mod, I complained about the lack of a mature tag and the mod that missed that before submitting it as a DD (had it been there of never have seen this picture or reacted to it, I hate so called artistic nudes so my filter us on) bit your right this can just be done some place else, and it has been, there are stacks and stacks of this Living/dead art and photos, found I'm places I don't ever wish to go or stumble across. I just don't like the fact it came here to dA, and I had to see it. This stiff bores a hole in my soul, mostly through past memory.

Actually my work does, the presents of blood does not necessitate a mature tag as this is respected as a PG-13 site so blood is fine. The presents of gore or violent death however does require a tag, and all my art with gore or death is indeed tagged and has been since it was uploaded, check it if you like. And on a side note, I quit depicting the deaths of people even bad guys. From now on it's all monsters and machines. Please feel free to read the comments I've left here to answer some of your concerns (they cover the lot) rather than adding to an already over spammed board (my fault) send me a note if you must speak your mind. Thanks

Yes I'd still hate it, but atleast I'd not know about it and be reminded of all that this sort of art stands for in the real world, which this art is meant to project. I keep my mature filter on because I've just seen too much garbage here that reminds me of what we've become. How has it come to this that people love, justify, and defend things like this? This isn't even a bad one, There are some of these that really drive it home, depicting an infinitely happy and content girl enjoying the finder moments in her life, then the next picture she's dead, raped and rotting in a ditch. Try not thinking of that in reality when you see this, maybe then you'll understand how this eats at me.

I'm not defending the image, nor am I attacking your opinion. Basically, what I was saying was 'what can you expect?' considering this piece reeks of macabre. If it's kind of over the top macabre, and that it lacked a mature tag, you could have at least said that in the initial reply.

I do understand where you're coming from here though, but while it's possible that this portrays the 'garbage' we as humans have done, it's pretty much a double edged sword here. Note that while it may possibly give ideas/inspire or whatnot, it can also reveal to the viewer the horrors of what we've become. One way to convince someone to do the opposite of something is to show the negative effects of that 'something'. I don't know if I explained that very well.
